In My Mailbox (27) & Stacking the Shelves (33)

Welcome to this week's In My Mailbox. In My Mailbox (IMM) is hosted by The Story Siren, who was inspired by a fellow book blogger Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. It features books I have bought or received for review.

Stacking the Shelves by Tynga`s Reviews is about adding books to my shelves I received during the past week whether it is physical or virtual. I received these books in the week.

Bought at Chapters/Indigo: (Hard copy)

Unpsoken by Sarah Rees Brennan

Bought from Amazon:

I am currently reading Unspoken and it is extremely entertaining. I have been looking forward to Awaken for the past few weeks because the first 2 books were extremely good but I have not gotten a chance to yet. **Fingers crossed** hopefully soon, depending on when I finish Unspoken.

What books did you purchase or receive this week???

Waiting on Wednesday (19)

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

I love this cover. This is what drew me into the book and made me want to read the description. It sounds great and I am excited to get my hands on it :)

Expected Publication Date: September 3, 2013

Synopsis: (Taken from Goodreads)
Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave.

One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself.

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a wholly original story of rage and revenge, of guilt and horror, and of love and loathing from bestselling and acclaimed author Holly Black.

I hope to hear from you!
